I found it really hard to get into this show, whenever the main character spoke English he sounded like he was doing an "I'm the main character in an anime" voice, and his dialogue was also painfully unfunny and cringy. Sandra Oh is also given practically nothing to do.

It was announced earlier today that Scoot passed away. I've been incredibly saddened by this news and planned to watch YMS plays Animal Crossing in his memory. I recomennded this movie on Adam's subreddit as a hilariously bad movie. It's just hilarious to me how stupid everyone is, in a way that reminds me of Amusement. And it has an insanely high rating on IMDb, it's really weird. The final reveal is particularly funny to me. Sorry if I was responsible for this though, didn't seem like Adam found it as funny.

Dude I have to say for the sake of this channel this is one of the most annoying watchalongs ever (at least the start of it). It is constant interruption with unrelated garbage that is not even in sync with what is watched. At the very least have some relevance that is well synced with what is watched; the best examples of this is the Rings of Power watchalong; even if you hated the filmmaking it was fun because you were having fun against it in a relevant way because you understood the flaws in a precise way.

Damn, yall keep Adum and his friends in your thoughts and prayers. Give him some time to get back to us.

Can’t imagine watching a film this way man, to lose focus halfway because you’re busy reading messages and going on rants about something external. Of course you’re just going to see images move on a screen without subtext, what the film is saying is going to be lost under all the distraction that’s obvious. What a truly sad way to experience a first time watch, I honestly can’t imagine why anyone would do that to themselves. To never experience a film in a none-spoiler free way ever again, to not pay attention to its subtext or commentary, especially in this films second half, is a sad loss of potentially experiencing something truly astonishing. Ah well just my own two cents anyway haha

Never mind watch a long just show the movie RUclips is a mess can't watch anything worth seeing unless you pay for it hell already paying for it

This is why I stopped watching Adum so time ago. It's fine if you hate a movie and think it's a piece of shit, I'm not one of those people that will try to convince you you're wrong for not liking it. But when you say things like "imagine being hyped for this" "imagine being a fan of this" "fans of the dceu are so funny", now you've gone from being someone that doesn't like a movie to being an obnoxious asshole. Just because YOU don't like something doesn't mean other people are dumb or lesser for liking it. That type of mentality is what makes pop culture discussions so toxic.

that harry big man is George "The Animal" Steele. he's a wrestling legend. he was that hairy IRL for the sake of his wrestling persona as a raving unintelligible caveman. he was a full time teacher and coach and then drove a few states away to wrestle early in his career. other teachers in the staff didnt know he was also a wrestler, so did the students. when he was confronted by a student who just moved from Michigan saying "hey you're george steele" he replied with "do you think im that ugly?". before his peak in 1980s WWF, there was a well known incident early in his wrestling career where he was told to wrestle a bear in a cage somewhere between the 1960s and 1970s. he originally wanted to decline the match but he eventually agreed to it. this was a live broadcast that seems to be lost media at this point until it's found one day, but during the match steele simply raised his arms up like a bear and yelled at it. the bear immediately defecated all over the ring. in amazement, george then looks towards one of the officials by ring side and yelled "hey i scared the shit out of him!." and that's when the lights and cameras shut off in the studio and the show was promptly cancelled. the source of this story comes from George himself in an interview from Acclaim for the Legend of Wrestling 2 video game
